"Eekk, Grammy!" I heard Eyrianne scream. Opening my eyes, I saw Eyrianne in the bathtub trying to cover herself.

"Uh, I'm sorry, Sis. I was shooting for my bedroom." I said shyly andd backed out of the bathroom.

I hurried to my room. Sitting at my Kauvara table desk, I took my naotes out and read them again. But I couldn't find anything about how to pinpoint my landing spot. I was really starting to get frustrated.

KNOCK, KNOCK "Merlin, can I come in?"

"Yes, Grammy. I'm really, really sorry about popping in on Eyrianne. I was trying to get to my room. I just don't know why I can't pinpoint my landings."

"Calm down, Sweetie. I take it that you're trying to develop the art of teleporting."

"Yes, Ma'am."

"When did you start?"

"OH Just today, I found this book at the Guild Library, then I missed the shuttle. So I thought I'd try it, only I landed in the pool instead of the playground, Then I tried for my room and ended up in the bathroom."

"I see. Well, can you put this onthe back burner until after Eyrianne's party?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Tonight before you go to bed, I'll sit down with you and we'll go over your notes together. Maybe we can find something to help you land in the correct place."

"Oh, Thank you Grammy." and I gave her the biggest hug ever.

I knew that Grammy would help me figure this out . She loves me and Eyrianne with all her heart. It showes in everything she does for us.

Needless to say I rushed around and helped get everything ready for Eyrianne's party. I strung lights all around the playground and pool. I set up tables of food and the music system.

Soon the party guess started to arrive. Ms Rosie with her group are always the first to arrive. There is Cy the halloween Aisha, Cm the red Cybunny, Tessa the Island Ixi and of course Ludi the toilet loving yellow Poogle. Then came Ms. Brenda with Apache the red Blumaroo. Then Ms. Pistachio with Brigid the green Elephante, Fiona the bllue Zafara and Mhairre the red Nimmo. Ms Tisfan with Zhechen the Pirate Aisha, Ilarion the ppurple Bruce, Bastian the Shadow Jetsam and Diya the Island Peophin arrived with Bard Judith and her pets; KepiCha the yellow Kougra, Gryffindor the blue Eyrie, Aliquum the sea green Peophin and Achamo the red Scorchio. Mr. Shrike, Shrike1976 the striped Cybunny and Merlin_spicyfoot the yellow Aisha arrived at the same time as Ms Lisa, the Librarian, Kachooli the Faerie Kacheek and Kueana the Island Scoricho. The last to arrive was Mr. Stam , the GOBD Commisioner, with his three pets; Mrrim the spotted Aisha, Joterion the starry Korbat and of course the great Puuuuurrrr the shadow Aisha.

Don't tell anyone but my sister has a big crush on Puuuuurrrr. Guess if I was a girl I would have one on him also. Puuuuurrrr is the top ranking pet in the Guild of Booklovers Detectives. . His adventures are legendary.

The party got into full swing. Some pets and owners were swimming while others were dancing in the garden. A few pets were in the game room playing Cheat. While still some others were checking out our library.

It was after midnight when the last of the guests left. The party was a huge success. Eyrianne really had a great time and got lots of great gifts. I even saw her and Puuuuurrrr in the corner of the playground whispering. I thought I saw them kiss but NO I couldn't have. Puuuuurrrr is too cool to ever really kiss a girl.

After picking up paper cups and plates in the playground, I went to my room. Sitting at my desk, I took out my notes. I had just started studying when I heard a soft knock on my door.

Grammy popped her head in and said, "Need some help?"

Even though it was nearly one o'clock in the morning, Grammy came to keep her promise.

I bet we went over my notes fifty times and discussed each and every detail. The sun was just peeking over the horizon when Grammy said, "I think you have to concentrate on just one item right now. I think the problem you had this afternoon was that we have a Scrochio gnome in the garden and one by the pool. That's why you ended up in the pool."

"Okay, but why did I pop into the bathroom instead of my bedroom?"

"I'm thinking on that. It could be that subconsciously you were thinking about the water you were in. So that's why you ended up in the bathroom. Eyrianne had a tub full of water. Right now I want you to concentrate on the leafy bench in the Meditation garden. Picture only that one thing in your mind. Think only of the leafy bench."

So that's what I did. I focused only on the leafy bench. The next thing I knew, I was sitting on the bench in the meditation garden. I was so surprised that it worked that I let out a howl that shook the walls of the house.

Grammy came running to the garden. She started laughing when she saw me dancing around the back garden.

"Merlin, you scared me to death with that howl. I see now that you werre just excited. You made it." She was on the verge of laughing when she tried to put a stern face on and said, " Now young man, I think the next place you need to pop over to is your bed."

So I pictured my bed in my mind and concentrated. ZAP! I was standing on my bed.

That was six months ago. Now I can teleport anywhere I want to go. I just get better at it everyday.
