Good friends are like stars...
You don't always see them,
but you know they are always there.

Cathy&CJ.jpg

Cathy and C.J.

This C.J. and his wife, Cathy. I've known C.J. since seventh grade. We sat either next to, infront of or behind each other all through junior and senior high school. In January of 1970 (in our Junior year of HS) C.J. went into the Navy. Then in April of that same year, my family moved from Illinois to S.C. Ihadn't heard from or seen C.J. since 1971. Then we found each other again over the internet. This picture was taken in June of 2000 when we meet in Raleigh, N.C. He hadn't changed at all. We were geeks together in school.

Carol
my best friend

This is my best friend, Carol. Although we live half way across the country from each other, we talk on the internet and/or the phone atleast every other day. We became friends after she started talking to Gerald over the internet. Carol has two wonderful children which I dearly love. Carol has a magificent singing voice that brings goosebumps to my arms everytime she sings. When Gerald had his heart attach she and my friend C.J. dropped everything to come to Texas to be with me. Then Carol flew back to Texas for my birthday so I wouldn't have to spend it alone. Can't beat that kind of friendship.

Christina.jpg

Christina
Carol's Daughter

Christina is perky, bubblely, vibret and full of humor. All she has to do is walk into a room to brighten it up. Zabrina fell in love with her at first site.

Jimmy
Carol's Son

I relate so much to Jimmy. He reminds me so much of myself at this age. He's not sure where he fits into things and he's an accident looking for a place to happen. Jimmy has a heart as big as the universe. He's sweet, loving, and caring.
