I started playing neopets in the fall of 2002 after I saw a cheerios commercial where it was advertising the race for the taste game. I soon got hooked (don't we all!) and played daily. Shortly thereafter I think I bought something in cybrairia's shop and saw the guild banner, and joined this wonderful family.
Neopets is my primary form of stress relief and entertainment- I'm a 29 year old step mom of 4 kids, one of whom is wheelchair-bound with cerebral palsy and another who is a type 1 diabetic. My husband has had lung cancer for several years and we never know how much time we'll have from one day to the next. You have no idea how nice it is to spend time somewhere where things never die.
I'd like to thank everyone for playing and being good sports and ciaracat for keeping true to her word and picking me to be with her in the final 2. It's not an easy game to play and I like to think that I played a fairly honest game, but tribal council is harder than it seems, believe me! Thanks again to all players for a game well done!

So as the sun sets in the west the Neopian Survivors gather on the beach for the boat ride back to Mystery Island. Many new friendships have been made. Hopefully a lot of fun was had. But all are looking forward to a hot shower and their own bed.
So until next time we bid adieu to the island that was our home since May 13th.
